Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh: A 25-year-old school teacher in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada allegedly committed suicide on Friday by hanging herself.

In a heartrending video message addressed to her parents, recorded on her phone just hours ago before she allegedly killed herself, she says she was constantly harassed by her husband and in-laws.

Sheikh Husna got married five years ago and has two small children - five and three years old.

In the video, which she recorded on her phone and sent to her brother on WhatsApp, she says she just couldn't take the torture any more. And that she had hoped to change her husband Saidulu's attitude.

She says she was studying and also teaching at a school, but her husband and in-laws would constantly harass her.

"Dear Mummy and Daddy, I am not able to take to it any more. I longed to be back in Hyderabad in our home. My last wish is that you should take care of my children, get them educated, in Hyderabad, so they do well in life. I am unable to take this anymore. I am so afraid that if I live, the rest of my life is going to be just like this. Listening to the worst kind of abuse and insults about me and you, my parents," she said in the video message.

The police have registered a case under section 304b of the Indian Penal Code, which is booked when suspicious death happens within seven years of marriage.
