Singapore's Changi Airport is known for turning airport time into a luxurious and enriching experience. The multiple award-winning airport has now added another attraction - the world's first outdoor bamboo garden inside an airport. Called Bamboo Grove, this green retreat is located along the Changi Airport Connector and offers travellers and visitors a chance to step into a calming space for a mindful break. Spread across more than 526 square metres, Bamboo Grove takes inspiration from Kyoto's (Japan) famous Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.

With tall bamboo shoots swaying gently, stone pathways winding through, and cosy seating corners, it's the perfect spot to relax. Visitors can take a walk, click scenic photographs or simply enjoy the open air, making it an ideal pause in between flights or a cycling trip along the connector.

Always Open, Always Free

Unlike other green spaces in Changi, such as the Butterfly Garden and Cactus Garden, which are reserved exclusively for transit passengers, Bamboo Grove is open to everyone, 24 hours a day, at no cost. Whether you are on a layover, a weekend outing, or just exploring Singapore, this outdoor space offers a refreshing stop.
