Every flight turns into a mini study of human habits. Some passengers plug into their playlists, some dive into films, while others simply stare out of the window and daydream. Travelling thousands of feet above the ground often brings out creative ways to stay entertained. But every now and then, someone takes it a step further. A recent IndiGo flight became the centre of attention on social media for exactly this reason. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), a passenger sitting on the aisle seat can be seen holding a tripod with her phone fixed at eye level, creating her own viewing setup mid-air. The clip has left many amused and surprised in equal measure.

The post was shared by X user @imYadav31. While sharing it, he wrote, "One of the wildest things I've seen on a flight. Someone on an IndiGo flight yesterday was literally using a tripod to hold her phone just to binge a TV show or movie like he or she is at home. Brought a whole studio setup to 35,000 feet."

The post caught the internet's eye quickly, and reactions poured in soon after. Users were amused, surprised and quick to share their own thoughts and experiences. One person shared, "Have done it multiple times. I had neck pain, so a tripod really helps you bring the screen to eye level. Great if your flight doesn't have a mobile stand, holder or screen." Another wrote, "Comfort viewing first." "It is very comfortable for the neck. Smart person," commented a third user.

A fourth user asked, "Do they allow gimbals and tripods in hand luggage? I once saw security creating a ruckus and not allowing a customer to carry one in hand luggage at Mumbai airport." "Jugaad ka koi ant nahi (there is no end to jugaad), this is very good though," pointed out another user.

This is not the first time an in-flight moment has gone viral. Just last month, one lucky passenger had a moment she will never forget. What began as a regular IndiGo flight turned into a cherished memory for Avantika when she received a surprise mid-air proposal message. Tired from her day, she was napping to catch up on some much-needed rest, unaware that her fiance, Divyamm, had planned something special for her. Click here to read more.

With moments like these popping up every other week, it seems in-flight entertainment is no longer limited to what the airline offers. Have you ever done something similar? Tell us in the comments.
