Amid the Middle East war entering its fourth week, global travel continues to face significant disruption. Stranded travellers in the Gulf are trying to return home, and those at home are cancelling their upcoming trips as instability in regional airspace persists. Several airlines have extended flight suspensions to and from the Middle East due to safety concerns, restricted airspace and rising jet fuel costs.

Below is the latest list of multiple airlines that have extended flight cancellations to the region, as reported by The Independent UK. The longest suspension of all is British Airways' flights to Abu Dhabi, which remain halted until later this year.

Aegean Airlines

Greece's largest airline has cancelled flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut and Amman until April 22, and to Erbil and Baghdad until May 24. Services to Dubai are cancelled until April 19, while flights to Riyadh are suspended until April 18.

airBaltic

Latvia's airBaltic has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until April 29 and all flights to Dubai until October 24.

Air Canada

Air Canada has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until May 2 and cancelled all flights to Dubai until March 28.

Air Europa

The Spanish airline has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv until April 10.

Air France

Air France has cancelled services to Tel Aviv and Beirut until April 4, and to Dubai and Riyadh until March 31, including an additional Dubai departure on April 1.

British Airways

British Airways has extended cancellations of flights to Amman, Bahrain, Dubai and Tel Aviv until May 31, and to Doha until April 30. The carrier has added extra services to Bangkok and Singapore, while flights to Abu Dhabi remain suspended until later this year.

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific has cancelled all passenger flights to Dubai and Riyadh until May 31. To meet increasing demand for travel to Europe, it will operate three additional return flights to Paris and Zurich, and add capacity on 13 London-bound flights in April.

Delta

Delta has cancelled flights from New York to Tel Aviv until March 31 and from Tel Aviv to New York until April 1. The restart of its Atlanta-Tel Aviv service has been postponed, with outbound flights suspended until August 4 and inbound flights until August 5.

Finnair

Finnair has cancelled flights to Dubai until March 29 and to Doha until July 2, and continues to avoid the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Israel.

Flynas

Saudi Arabian budget airline Flynas has extended its suspension of flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Syria until March 31.

IndiGo

IndiGo has suspended operations to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah until March 28.

ITA Airways

ITA Airways has suspended flights to Tel Aviv until April 2 and extended cancellations to Dubai until March 29. The airline continues to avoid the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Israel.

Japan Airlines

Japan Airlines has suspended scheduled Tokyo-Doha flights until March 31 and Doha-Tokyo services until April 1.

KLM

KLM has suspended flights to Riyadh, Dammam and Dubai until May 17, and to Tel Aviv until April 11.

LOT

LOT Polish Airlines has cancelled flights to Dubai until March 28 and to Tel Aviv until May 31. Flights to Riyadh are cancelled until April 30, while services to Beirut will not operate from March 31 to April 30.

Lufthansa Group

Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, ITA Airways and Edelweiss have suspended flights to Dubai and Tel Aviv until May 31, and to Abu Dhabi, Amman, Beirut, Dammam, Riyadh, Erbil, Muscat and Tehran until October 24.

Malaysia Airlines

Malaysia Airlines has suspended all flights to Doha until April 15.

Norwegian Air

Norwegian Air has postponed the launch of its Tel Aviv and Beirut routes to June 15, instead of the earlier planned dates of April 1 and April 4. It has cancelled all flights to Dubai through April 8.

Pegasus

Turkey's Pegasus Airlines has cancelled flights to Iran, Iraq, Amman, Beirut, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah until April 13. Flights to Riyadh are cancelled until April 1.

Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines has extended the suspension of its Singapore-Dubai route until April 30, while increasing services on its Singapore-London Gatwick and Singapore-Melbourne routes from late March to October 24.

Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines has cancelled most Middle East flights until the end of March. SunExpress, its joint venture with Lufthansa, has cancelled flights to Dubai until April 6 and to Bahrain until April 30.

Wizz Air

Wizz Air has suspended flights to Israel until March 29 and services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Amman and Jeddah from mainland Europe until mid-September.

Travellers are advised to check their flight status directly with their airline before planning travel to the Middle East.
