Google Brings SynthID-Powered Deepfake AI Video Detection Tool to Gemini App

Google has added a new video verification tool to Gemini that helps users check whether a clip was created or edited using Google’s AI models. Users can upload a video and ask Gemini to analyse it for SynthID watermarks. The feature follows a similar image tool launched last month and aims to make it easier to spot AI-generated or edited videos.
