In the first credit rating upgrade since 2004, the US-based rating agency Moody's today elevated India by a notch to Baa2. The Baa3 rating was the lowest investment grade -- just a notch above 'junk' status. Two years ago, the rating outlook was changed to 'positive' from 'stable'.
