John "Kyle" Johnson wasn't initially planning on entering the Poke Poke restaurant in downtown Chicago, but he walked inside when he saw someone wave to him through the window. When the black 18-year-old entered the Wabash Avenue restaurant on Jan. 2 with two of his friends, however, he was met with a much less welcoming surprise.
