Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1

London: The Gunners were completely out classed as Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1 in their Barclays Premier League encounter on Sunday.

United drew first blood as Manuel Almunia turned Nani's cross into his own goal. It got even worse for Arsenal four minutes later as Wayne Rooney doubled United's lead with his 100th Premier League goal.

The Gunners though could have pulled one back just a minute later. However, Arshavin once again missed when there was a clear chance to score.

Those misses came back to haunt Arsenal as Ji-Sung Park scored United's 3rd in the 52nd minute.

The Gunners did manage to pull one back 10 minutes from time, but it was too little too late. Manchester United have now moved to just a point behind league leaders Chelsea.
