Idukki:
Six final year engineering students were among the seven persons killed after the bus carrying them fell into a ravine at Thekkinkanam near Rajakkad in idukki today. At least 30 people were injured in the accident.
The driver was among those killed.
The victims were returning from Kodaikanal after a tour when the mishap occurred, police said.
The injured have been hospitalised and the condition of some of them is stated to be serious.
The deceased were students of the private self-financing Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology at nearby Vellanad.
