Four kg of silver articles stolen from temple

Coimbatore: Nearly four kg of silver articles and ornaments were today found missing from a temple near Avanashi in neighbouring Tirupur District.

The priest of Lord Ganesha temple in Periyanathanpalayam found the almirah in which the articles were kept broke open and the contents missing this morning, police said.
