The latest food trend to sweep the Internet is dog-shaped desserts - but you might have to book a ticket to Taiwan to experience it. J C Co Art Kitchen, a cafe in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, has become an Instagram sensation thanks to their unique desserts. Their ice creams are carefully shaped to look like dogs and have garnered viral Internet fame - so much so that the eatery is now struggling to keep up with the demand.
Would you be able to eat this scarily realistic ice cream puppy?
According to the Strait Times, hordes of customers flock this cafe every day to get their hands on the eminently Instagrammable desserts. The gelato creations cost between NT$110 to NT$188 (approximately Rs 250 to Rs 400) and come in three different flavours. The labrador pup is earl grey-flavoured, the Shar Pei tastes like peanut butter and the pug is chocolate-flavoured.
BBC reports that each dessert takes five hours to make and the restaurant is now struggling to meet its massive demand, as they are limited to creating only a 100 desserts per day.
Photos of the dog-shaped ice creams have flooded social media:

This is not the first time that a baker has been criticised for creating hyper-realistic desserts. The Cake Illusionist, a British Bakery, was recently trolled for baking dog-shaped cakes:
