IPL 2017: The Mannequin Challenge Is Back, And How

Yuvraj Singh pretends to be asleep during the Sunrisers Hyderabad's mannequin challenge

New Delhi: Remember late last year when your newsfeeds and timelines were flooded with videos of all kinds of people taking the mannequin challenge? Get ready for round two. You have the Indian Premier League to thank for it. Or perhaps, more specifically, you have Kingfisher to thank for it. The brand challenged the Rising Pune Supergiant IPL team first. They in turn challenged the Delhi Daredevils. Since then, at least 2 other IPL teams - the Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad - have jumped on the mannequin challenge bandwagon as well.

The mannequin challenge is a massively viral video craze where people remain frozen in action, like mannequins, as a moving camera films them.

In the first video of the mannequin challenge, Ben Stokes decides to get comfortable and the Rising Pune Supergiant captain Steven Smith and MS Dhoni play a game of carrom.

Ever wondered how hard the Delhi Daredevils work out at the gym? Captain Zaheer Khan wants to show you. Oh, don't miss the requisite gym picture being taken.

The Mumbai Indians wanted to show off their soccer skills. Harbhajan Singh, Nicholas Pooran, Krunal Pandya, Mitchell Johnson, Nitish Rana and Jagadeesha Suchith are all frozen as Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya battle it out to try and score a goal.

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner better watch out! While he chalks out strategies, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra and Naman Ojha are up to no good. Don't miss Yuvraj Singh snoozing at the end.

The team has challenged former champions Kolkata Knight Riders for the mannequin challenge next.

All the IPL teams have also asked fans to shoot and send in their own videos. Let the good times roll off the field as well!
