Mumbai:
Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has been discharged today from Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after undergoing an angioplasty procedure.
Mr Thackeray, 52, was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. His wife Rashmi and children Aditya and Tejas were present when he underwent the surgery. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief and estranged cousin Raj Thackeray was also present.
This is Mr Thackeray's second angioplasty. He had first undergone this procedure in July this year at Lilavati, following complaints of severe chest pain. The medical team had then discovered multi-vessel blockages and suggested he undergo two series of the medical procedure.
