Halloween is here and, we hope you have finalised your look for the spooky season. While your costume is important, you cannot really ignore the makeup as it enhances the overall Halloween get up. Whether you want to go subtle with a cat girl look or a scary pumpkin head, get your style sorted with these Halloween makeup ideas. We have handpicked some of the scariest looks. Moisturize your face and use a good quality primer to prevent any infection, rash, or redness later.
Dramatic Eyes And Red Lip
The first look is rather a simple one. After applying foundation and compact, contour your cheeks nicely, probably go overboard to create depth around your cheeks. The most important part of this look is the eyes. We all have done smokey eyes, right? Well, that's what you have to do here. Make sure you smudge the eye shadow on the lower eyelid as well. Don't forget to add a silver touch on the corner of the eye. Now wind up your makeup with a bold red lip.
Bleed Red
Do your regular makeup using foundation, concealer, compact, and blush. Keep eye makeup for the end. First take a nude brown eyeshadow on the eyelids, followed by a winged eyeliner. Next, take a red kohl and apply it to the lower eyelid. You can also use red lipstick for the same. Draw out extensions under the eye, to make it look you are shedding red tears. Spider Eye
Spiders are scary. So, why not include them in your Halloween makeup? Here's how you can go about it. Complete your base makeup, before heading for the eyes. On one eye, you can paint a graphic spider, while a spider web on the other. All you need is black, brown and white eyeshadows. And, of course, some good painting skills. For the lips, pick the darkest brown shade you have and make it a bit glossy. Once done use a toothpick to extend a straight line from both ends of the lip.
Pumpkin Spice
Want to scare your guests or children as they come for trick or treat? This is the look you should go for. Pumpkin spice as the name suggests would require you to play with loads of brown and black colour. Wear black eyeshadows and black lips, topped with a muted brown shade. If not available, you can substitute it with an orange corrector. The orange or muted brown shade will help you to give dimension to the makeup.
Skeleton Mask
If you want to go all out with your Halloween makeup, we have picked the spookiest look for you. While we are used to wearing masks, why not give it a scary spin with this skeleton design on your lower face. Use glitter to add a bling factor. For the eyes, make them shine but with purple.
