1. One Day At A Time
Stop pushing all your plans and activities for the weekend. If you do, you'll go into the week with the hopes of getting through it rapidly rather than enjoying each day. Instead of making all your plans on Fridays and Saturdays, plan for Mondays and Wednesday too. Adding excitement to the first half of the week will make you look forward to it.
2. Keep Sunday Calm
In fear of the weekend quickly coming to an end, don't pack it choc-o-block with activities. That will make it feel like you've sped through the day and you'll be exhausted by Sunday night. What you can do is make the latter half of Sundays one for yourself. Spend some me-time by mediating, exercising, treating yourself to a spa session and movie night. You will be pacing through your day and by night, you'll be peaceful and rested.
3. Stay Off Social Media
Schedule Sunday to be spent with conversation, hobbies and activities, not on social media. The second you begin scrolling through Instagram and Twitter, you'll be sucked into a black hole of constantly refreshing the page. Before you know it, a large chunk of your day is gone and there's nothing you can do about it.
From this weekend on, try these tips and the end of Sunday won't feel so bad after all.
