You can't deny that Sonam Kapoor is one of Bollywood's most stylish women and has been for a while now. In fact, Sonam's fashion quotient puts her into the spotlight as much, or even more than her movie roles. That's largely because of her incredible ability to shapeshift between looks. From princess gowns at Cannes to androgynous pantsuits in the city, there isn't a style under the sun that this lady hasn't tried. Backed by stylist sister Rhea Kapoor, her every look leaves us awestruck and manages to swiftly make fashion headlines.
Her most recent one followed the same pattern. Rhea shared pictures of an event quietly attended by Sonam, which caused a flurry shortly after. In black and white, Sonam proved that a lack of bright colour needn't ever be boring.
Her look began with a white Emilia Wickstead dress with straps and off-shoulder Victorian style sleeves, a fitted mid-riff and mid-length hem with full pleats at the bottom. The dress was contrasted with slim black piping at the neck and midriff. Matching it harmoniously were black Manolo Blanik pumps and a black sling bag. Earrings from Jet Gems and a Minawala Jewellers ring added a sparkling hint without taking away from the outfit.
For her makeup, Sonam went with full brows, a fresh face and pink lips. Radiant and subtle, it matched her outfit to perfection. And let's not forget about her locks. Ever since she was spotted with newly acquired curls, Sonam's tresses have been the talk of the town. She pulled them up in a neat, full ponytail.
While black and white pictures are sure to take you back in time, Sonam's elegant look definitely yields the same results.
