There's nothing we love more than an awards ceremony because more than the awards being handed out, it's the fashion quotient that gets us excited. The recent Filmfare 2022 Awards saw Shehnaaz Gill, Sayani Gill and Kiara Advani make an impact on the red carpet. Add Rakul Preet Singh to that list because her gown, although simple and understated as ever, made quite the elegant style statement. Rakul made the classic choice of wearing a black gown with a few fabulous additions. It featured a ruffled off-shoulder neckline and slit that ran over the length at the back. Keeping the rest of her look as minimal as the outfit, Rakul paired the gown with a bun high in hair and a strap pair of black heels with a fresh-faced makeup look to tie it all together.
Last week, Rakul Preet gave us what she called "Blacknifecent feels" in her caption with an outfit also entirely in black. The wrap style dress also had a slightly off-shoulder neckline with a slit down the front. Metallic heels completed the outfit.

There was also the time she revisited the grunge fashion trend and was "vibing with the teeny girl" in her in yet another black dress. This one had a leather look in a trench dress style which she wore with a broad belt and boots on her feet, both in black.
