"Television Host. Travel & Humor junkie. Grammar Nazi. Culinary enthusiast. SCUBA diver. Saree lover. Passionate tea brewer. Just too many damned hats"

That is how Mini Mathur describes herself in her Instagram bio. While all her posts and pictures on Instagram can vouch for the fact that she is all of those things and more, there's one thing in particular that stands out for us - and that's exactly what we're going to talk about. Mini Mathur's love for sarees. Mini Mathur seems to love her sarees, and in return, they seem to love her back even more. It's hard to imagine that they would look as good as they do on her if they didn't. Like all great relationships, though, Mini Mathur's relationship with the saree is definitely a give and take one. She makes sure to make the sarees she wears look fun and easy, and the sarees, oh well, they look fabulous on her. So there you have it, folks.

Here are some of the times Mini Mathur rocked the saree in her own way, and definitely owned a garment that can sometimes be slightly cumbersome to wear.

Most recently, Mini Mathur posted a picture of herself wearing this bottle green saree, with a host of prints on it. While the border was black with white stripes on it, the pleats consisted of a pattern that appeared somewhat like tulip bulbs. The pallu of the saree on the other hand consisted of a plain red panel and a white panel with red polka dots on it. A fun and quirky saree, indeed.

In January, we saw Mini Mathur wear a bright red and pink Abraham and Thakore saree with a white crop top that had exaggerated sleeves. She tied the pallu of the saree into a knot around the shoulder, making sure that her saree was not just a regular saree, but a rather cool one. That's a new way to convert just any boring old saree into an interesting one, don't you think?

Earlier, Mini Mathur shared a picture of herself in a beige saree from Galang Gabaan. Her seemingly cotton had hearts printed on it. Mini wore an off-shoulder white top as the blouse - once again proving that traditional need not mean boring.

Let's not forget the time Mini Mathur showed up at Lakme Fashion Week in 2016 wearing a denim linen saree by Aaylixi with ripped jeans under and a blue check blouse.
