Yesterday, Shilpa Shetty Kundra decided to show the world how to wear a saree while staying fashionable in the freezing cold - with a smile. In Jaipur to celebrate a friend, Shilpa pulled out a gorgeous Manish Malhotra saree in black pashmina and velvet, with vintage gold thread work. Just goes to show, you can't go wrong with the classics. The simple high-necked, long-sleeved blouse in black and gold, perfect to keep Shilpa warm and protected from the chilly winds and dipping temperatures in the Pink City. We can't help but thinking, she really does look like royalty in the city of royals.
Keeping her company, and in character himself, was husband Raj Kundra, looking dapper in a sharp black bandhgala, crisp white shirt and fitted pants. While the ensemble gets our approval wholeheartedly, what we're really digging is the Rajput-style handlebar moustache and beard.
We have to say, with the way they look, the pair fits right into the palace-like interiors that make for a majestic backdrop to their photos.
