Hang some, fold some
Go for colour coordinated hangers for different kinds of clothes. Separate your formal and informal clothes and hang them differently. Things to hang? Shirts, skirts, trousers, coats, and jackets. Things to fold? T-shirts, loungewear, knitwear, and denims. Use slim hangers to make more space inside the closet.

Use small boxes to store t-shirts
The best way to keep t-shirts inside a closet is not to stack them one over the other, it is to roll them up and keep them side by side in a box. This way individual tees are easier to find. You can make separate boxes for different styles of t-shirts.
Use the drawers for socks and undergarments
Add dividers into the drawers and store not just your undergarments, socks, and other accessories such as ties and bowties but also your jewellery pieces.

Use the back of the closet door
You can always hang your scarves, belts, and ties by adding a door rack or hooks to the back of the closet door.
Overhead storage
Many closet come with a top shelf; use that space to store clothes that are not for everyday use, things that you seldom use, and next season’s outfits.
