No matter how late you are or how little you slept, these makeup tips will make sure no one knows a thing.

5 Expert-Approved Makeup Tips For When You're Running Late
Looking great even in a hurry is possible with these easy makeup tips.

How many times have you snoozed your alarm far too much, woken up late and skipped breakfast, just to make it in time for work? Too many to count, we know. Even in those times, it's important to look groomed, especially if you're rushing to a morning meeting. For those mornings, turn to these trusty makeup tips told to us by makeup artist Mansi Mehta Kothari to look fresh and rested - no one will know a thing about your crazy morning!

1. Only Go For The Essentials

Skip past the bottles of foundation and concealer and opt for moisturised skin with natural coverage. Here's what Mansi recommends, "In your palm, mix together a squirt of BB cream, moisturiser and sunscreen - then apply over your face and neck." This all-in-one solution will protect, hydrate and cover your skin in just 1 step.

2. Bring Out The Lipstick

When in doubt, go bright. With a rushed morning being a very doubtful time, choose a bright lipstick in red, pink or orange. A punchy pout grabs the attention of the onlooker and takes away from the rest of your look (read: undone brows and messy hair)

3. Don't Forget Mascara

Even if you move past your regular eyeliner, don't do the same for mascara. "Apply one or two coats of mascara to your upper and lower lashes. It's perfect to open up your eyes and give you a fresher appearance," advises Mansi.

4. White Is Right

If you have a few seconds to spare, get out a white or nude toned eye pencil. Then apply it over your lower waterline and blend on the inner tear duct of the eye - it'll give you that wide, doe-eyed look in a jiffy.

5. Blush Always

"Use a large powder brush to apply blush over the apples of your cheeks and blend towards your temples. A pop of colour on the cheeks will add a pleasant, groomed touch to your final look," confirms Mansi.
