Budget travel is a huge thing nowadays. With people wanting to travel more and see more places and cities, it becomes imperative for them to manage their money well so that they can make multiple trips possible through the year. Keep the dormitory clean
One of the most important things to remember in a dorm is that it is a shared space and you have to clean after yourself because there is no room service or anyone assigned to do it. You have to be mindful of that fact that there are other people living with you. Keep the bathroom, the kitchen, and the common areas clean.

Talk softly
Don’t have a loud phone conversation in the middle of the night in the dorm when everyone is sleeping, or gossip with your friend loudly when a housemate is sleeping or resting. There are fixed hours at every hostel that are the quiet hours - be respectful of those. Also, keep your phones on silent mode at night, and don’t switch the lights on unnecessarily.
Give people their space
Make friends in a hostel but also make sure you don’t invade someone’s space. Also make it a point to not leave your things around, especially on other people’s bunks. Other things to remember? Don’t sleep naked, don’t indulge in anything sexual inside the dorm, dress decently, and definitely don’t borrow anything without asking the owner.
