Husband, widower snuff out their lives

Kanpur: Unable to bear the separation from his beloved spouse, a husband allegedly committed suicide here today.

Deeply perturbed over his wife leaving him following a fight, 35-year-old Dinesh Kumar ended his life by swallowing some poisonous substance in Gopal Nagar locality, police said.

In another incident, grief-stricken Pooran Singh, aged 48, whose wife died recently, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Panki area, they said.
        
Both the bodies had been sent for post mortem, police said.
