West Bengal Judicial Service Exam 2017: Number of attempts
Candidates not belonging to SC/ ST/ BC category of West Bengal: 3 times
Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BC category of West Bengal: 5 times
Candidates have to pay fee of Rs 210 along with online application (No fees for SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates)
Preliminary Exam will consist of one paper. The paper will be of Objective type and will contain 200 questions. The question paper will consist of questions related to English composition, General Knowledge, current affairs and test of reasoning, Indian Constitution, Law of Contracts and Torts, Law of Evidence, Civil Procedure Codes, Criminal Procedure Code and Indian Penal Code, Personal law and law of limitation.
Final Examination will comprise of eight compulsory papers and three papers on optional subjects. Each compulsory and optional paper will carry 100 marks and will be of three hours duration.
Candidates are suggested to go through the official notification released at pscwb.org.in. Candidates can apply on or before 17 April 2017.
