Jaipur:
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday attended the 70th birthday celebrations of Jaipur's Maharani Padmini Devi at the City Palace in Jaipur.
Mr Bachchan arrived by a private plane today and is likely to stay here tonight, police sources said, adding that he will leave for Jodhpur tomorrow morning.
The actor's visit is kept away from media.
Padmani Devi was born to erstwhile Maharaja Rajendra Prakash and Maharani Indira Devi of Sirmur in Hamachal Pradesh as the princess of Sirmur.
She got married to Brigadier (retired) Bhawani Singh of the Jaipur royal family in 1966. The last titular Maharaja of Jaipur, Brigadier Singh died after in 2011 after a prolonged illness.
