New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Arun Shourie who attacked the party on Monday has responded to BJP's demand for clarification.
Shourie said he was willing to give clarification to the party on his remarks. Shourie said, "If there was any ambiguity in what I have said, I will clarify".
The party first threatened to expel him, but now seems to be leaning towards reconciliation.
Earlier on Tuesday, BJP chief Rajnath Singh asked Arun Shourie to clarify his comments on the party but said that no decision has been taken on Shourie's expulsion from the party.
Shourie has accused the BJP brass of making the party their private property and said that it is their unwillingness to listen that has left him with no option but to speak out in public.
In an exclusive interview to NDTV on Monday Shourie attacked the top BJP leadership including party president Rajnath Singh and L K Advani. He had particularly harsh words for Rajnath, calling him "Alice in Blunderland".
