UK Prime Minister outlines measures to deal with riots
London: Speaking at an emergency session of Parliament, Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron, on Thursday, outlined a series of measures to deal with the crisis:   


  • Govt. will act decisively, end culture of fear
  • Riots: criminality, pure and simple
  • Police will raid houses
  • Discipline in schools
  • Tough measures to stop further violence: water cannons and plastic bullets
  • Nothing should be off the table
  • Businesses will receive compensation, assistance
  • Britain will seek advice from law enforcers in N.Y., L.A. and Boston to end gang violence
  • Looking at limiting use of Facebook, Twitter
