New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court will hear on Monday the criminal revision of bail application filed by four police officers arrested in the Shopian rape and murder case.
On Thursday evening the Jammu and Kashmir government sacked the state's Additional Advocate General shortly after the hearing of the bail application of two policemen in connection with the case.
Sources told NDTV that the Jammu and Kashmir government was unhappy with the advocate for not effectively arguing the case, resulting in denial of bail to the arrested cops.
Four policemen, including former SP of Shopian and his deputy, are in custody for last 40 days for allegedly destroying evidence.
