Hyderabad:
Prime Minister Mamohan Singh has declared the floods in Adnhra Pradesh and Karnataka a national calamity.
Addressed the press in Hyderabad on Friday, Singh announced flood relief worth Rs 1,000 crore for Andhra Pradesh, after reviewing the flood situation in the state.
"The Centre will stand by state, and provide all resources," he said.
