New Delhi:
Actress Malaika Arora was glad to have joined International Yoga Day celebrations in Mumbai's Marine Drive on Wednesday morning. Her ex-husband, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan was also spotted at the event along with BJP spokesperson and designer Shaina NC. This is the first time that Malaika is part of the yoga initiative by the government while Arbaaz participated for the second time. Malaika, who is also known for being the fitness enthusiast she is, told the media at the International Yoga Day event: "Everybody should incorporate yoga in their lives." However, the exes carefully avoided being photographed together at the event. Malaika and Arbaaz married in 1998 and got divorced in 2016 after living separately for a while.
Malaika and Arbaaz are parents to Arhaan, 15, and are often spotted hanging out together with the Khans and Aroras. Arbaaz is a regular at family gatherings of the Aroras while Malaika is also frequently spotted hanging out with Arbaaz's khandaan comprising his actor brothers Salman and Sohail.
A look at Malaika's Instagram also reveals that she had more yoga plans for the day. She partnered with celebrity fitness instructor Anshuka Parwani to celebrate International Yoga Day. Malaika shared a picture of practicing yoga with her plus one and wrote in caption: "Inhale positivity and exhale negativity. Happy International Yoga Day - with my fav yogini Anshuka Parwani." Malaika and Anshuka were photographed while they did the Flying Warrior pose. Take a look at how Malaika started her Wednesday morning:

International Yoga Day aside, Malaika regularly practices yoga. We say this because she is often spotted arriving at and leaving a yoga studio in Bandra. Also because Malaika often shares pictures from her yoga practice sessions.

Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Soha Ali Khan and Aditi Rao Hydari are also soaked in the spirit of International Yoga Day. Big B proved that there's no dress code for yoga while Shilpa Shetty showed that practice can make you perfect.
