Gujarat today called of the search operation following the bridge collapse in Morbi that led to the death of 135 people. A top official today said that there is no information about anyone still being missing in the bridge tragedy.
"A total of 135 people have died. But our control room is still operational. People can offer us all such information, we'll follow it up with due process," Morbi District Collector, GT Pandya, said.
"All persons have been accounted for. And hence the decision to call off the search operation," Mr Pandya added.
Local fire brigade, state and national disaster teams will be kept on standby, a government statement said.
At least 135 people were killed and over 100 injured after a cable suspension bridge in Morbi town collapsed on Sunday, plunging people into the Machchhu river.
