Imphal:
A jawan of the Assam Rifles was killed and four others were injured in a bomb blast in Manipur's Morel town today.
The bomb went off as a battalion of the Assam Rifles was patrolling the Imphal-Moreh national highway in Monjang in Chandel district, about 120 kms from Imphal, officials said.
The four jawans injured were hit by splinters and have been admitted to a hospital in Moreh.
