India-Pakistan Thaw, National Security Advisors to Meet in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif have agreed that the National Security Advisers will meet in Delhi to discuss terrorism.

The announcement was made by India's Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyan Jaishankar on the sidelines of the BRICS  summit in Russia today.

The leaders of India and Pakistan held talks on the sidelines of the summit.

PM Modi also accepted  Mr Sharif's invitation to attend a meeting of South Asia leaders in Pakistan in 2016.
