Applicants can submit their ideas through the MY Bharat portal by October 22
The challenge, a flagship national initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is being organised under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders' Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027.
As the knowledge partner, IIT Kanpur will contribute its academic expertise, research capabilities, and innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem to help promising ideas evolve into practical, scalable solutions.
Through its Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), the institute is leading nationwide outreach to academic institutions, incubators, and entrepreneurship networks, with a focus on reaching aspiring entrepreneurs in emerging startup ecosystems and underserved regions.
The challenge aims to identify and encourage technology-driven innovations that address pressing societal needs and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It offers young innovators an opportunity to refine their ideas through expert mentorship, develop prototypes, and present their solutions on a national platform.
