Hyderabad:
The Hyderabad police will probe the the incident of an alleged rape of a dancer from Mumbai who was in the city to perform for New Year's eve celebrations.
A senior police officer said that the city police is co-ordinating with the Mumbai police and added, "We are awaiting the FIR copy (from the Mumbai police) and once the case is transferred, we will probe it thoroughly."
While the alleged sexual assault was committed on the intervening night of December 31 and January 1, the Mumbai police had booked a case after the victim complaint stated that she was taken to an undisclosed location and allegedly raped by a person.
