What is the best position to get the baby to burp?

Question

When a 2-month-old infant burps, which is the best position to lay him? Some people say that we should put him in a sitting position for sometime and some say to hold him and walk for sometime till he is relieved. Which is the right way to do this?

There is no best way of burping the baby. Keep him little upright either in sitting position or on your shoulder. See what is most comfortable for you and your baby.
