Yes, you need to consult a paediatric dentist to ensure that permanent teeth are there. Delay in eruption is not the problem but the ideal time for finding out any possibility of missing permanent teeth inside the bone is 7-8 years only. The dentist may advise you an x-ray of full mouth (OPG) and then let you know.
