A scrap dealer was killed this morning when a television condenser exploded while he was sorting junk items in Alvi Nagar colony under area, police said.
Hashmat, a resident of Kolkata, was killed when the television condenser exploded as he going through scrap items in front of his house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Arvind Yadav.
A forensic team was summoned to examine the residual contents of the scrap, officer said.
