Riteish Deshmukh is a man of many talents. The actor, who is an architect by education, is also a producer and now, an acclaimed director. It looks like now the star can add another talent to the list – a penchant for badminton. We say this because Riteish Deshmukh on Sunday received the opportunity to play badminton with world champion PV Sindhu in front of some of the biggest names in Bollywood. Riteish Deshmukh and PV Sindhu played badminton at the HT Style Awards stage with the iconic Bollywood retro song Dhal Gaya Din Ho Gayi Sham from Chamoli. For context, in the original song, actors Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar are playing a game of badminton.

In the video, Riteish Deshmukh is seen trying his best to keep up with PV Sindhu, even diving once or twice to catch up with the Olympic silver medalist. In the caption, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “About last night… it's was an absolute pleasure to play badminton with the amazingly stylish World Champion and India's Pride PV Sindhu - at #htstyleawards2023 and had to play it on the iconic Jeetu ji song…” After the game, the two even shake a leg to the iconic song on stage.

Replying to the post, Gauahar Khan said, “Skills.”

PV Sindhu also shared an Instagram Stories update praising Riteish Deshmukh and said, “You were amazing.” Reposting it, the actor said, “Dear PV Sindhu, you are too kind and extremely gracious- very proud of all your achievements - till we play again…”

On the work front, Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Ved, alongside his wife Genelia D'Souza. The film was Genelia's Marathi debut while being Riteish Deshmukh's directorial debut as well. The actor will be seen next in Kakuda and Visfot.
