Sanjay Dutt, who celebrates his 63rd birthday today, received an adorable greeting from his daughter Trishala Dutt. On her Instagram profile, Trishala posted a throwback picture with her dad Sanjay Dutt and she wrote in her caption: "Happy Birthday my lion king. Keep shining for me. Keep shining for all of us. I love you so very much Papa." Trishala Dutt is a psychotherapist based out of New York. Her parents are Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and his first wife Richa Sharma, who died of brain tumour. Trishala was raised by her maternal grandparents in USA, where she currently stays. Her father Sanjay Dutt is now married to Maanayata. They got married in the year 2008 and the couple are parents to twins Shahraan and Iqra.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt had back-to-back film releases this year. He was last seen in the box office debacle Shamshera, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. Before that, he starred in Prithviraj, alongside Akshay Kumar and Manush Chhilar. He also featured in the smash hit KGF: Chapter 2, co-starring Yash and Raveena Tandon.
In the recent years, the actor featured in the National Award winning film Toolsidar Junior, Ajay Devgn's Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2. He was also seen in Torbaaz and Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Panipat, co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
