• Close friends confirm that there was not one but several reasons for the impending split.
• Won't marry
• The biggest reason was that John wasn’t ready to sette down. A friend on basis of anonymity spills the beans, "10 years is not a short time. Other couples would have settled down ages ago, but they obviously wanted to focus on their careers and make money. But over the last two years Bipasha was getting increasingly frustrated with his attitude towards their relationship. He had started taking her for granted and it really hurt her."
• Growing insecurity
• Secondly, Bips was always insecure of John and whenever she would go on outdoors she would get to hear of his growing proximity with either his co-stars (Katrina during New York, Vidya during Salam-e-Ishq) or models. She had grown tired of turning a deaf ear to these whispers.
