Sonam has denied rumours about her sister Rhea getting married to her boyfriend.

- "Fortunately for me, my sister is not getting married as I like her in the house. I don't think she needs to get married for another five-six years at least. She is younger than me," Sonam said.
- Reportedly, Rhea and Karan have been dating for a while now. Karan assisted Rhea in her debut production venture Aisha in 2010 and since then they have been spotted together on many occasions.
- "My sister is a baby, she is not getting married. It's like someone is just making stuff. In one month she is starting another film though and Karan is actually directing that film," Sonam said.
- "I think they got confused a little bit between making a movie and getting married. She is not getting married, no. She is a child," she added.
