Los Angeles: Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who claims to be US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's son.

Bradly Gooden, 38, was arrested on the grounds of the actress' Hollywood mansion on February 11.

According to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Gooden told officers he had travelled from Ohio to the property because he believed his mother, Hillary Clinton, had gifted him the house, reported Los Angeles Times online.

Gooden, who told officers his name was Bobby Joe Clinton, was taken into custody and placed on a psychological hold.

The 53-year-old actress said in the court documents that she feared for her safety as well as the safety of her three children Roan, Laird and Quinn.

"I do not personally know nor have any relationship with Bradly Gooden, nor do I desire any interaction or communication with him what-so-ever. Despite these facts, Mr Gooden has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and insert himself into my life, including trespassing on my property and breaking into my house," Stone said in the application.

"I have been further informed that Mr. Gooden is under various extreme delusional beliefs, including the delusional beliefs that he is a government agent, the screen writer of King's Speech and the son of Hilary Clinton," she added.

The terms of the restraining order, granted by the court, state Gooden must stay at least 100 yards away from Stone and her three children. A hearing is set for March 9, 2011, where it will be determined whether a permanent restraining order is granted.
