  • Along with wife, model Jesse Randhawa, he will perform a 10-minute long piece which will see a combination of rumba, paso doble and salsa, at the event which will see honchos like Mark Zuckerberg, Julian Assange hobnobbing with world leaders like Dmitry Medvedev and Nicolas Sarkozy.
  • "The performance has a story line with Jesse playing a tigress and I doubling up as a poacher and a ring master. We have been practising and I am very happy that I got the opportunity to perform at the event," said Soparrkar who is a longtime supporter of PETA.
  • The cause of the Indian tiger has seen many celebrity supporters, including Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actress Preity Zinta.
  • The World Economic Forum which will begin Davos, Switzerland on January 26, also sees a healthy sprinkling of celebrities.
  • Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Sharon Stone have often hogged limelight from other speakers at the conclave.
  • In recent years the forum has also drawn actor Michael Douglas, Richard Gere and U2 rocker Bono and Peter Gabriel among others.
  • Meanwhile Soparrkar also has his plate full when it comes to Bollywood.
  • He was nominated for a Screen award for his choreography in the Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Kites' and is making Ajay Devgn dance to his tunes in 'Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji'.
  • "Ajay was rather a pleasant surprise. I have choreographed a salsa number for him in the film and though he needed a bit of convincing he was very enthusiastic," said Soparrkar who recently celebrated his first wedding anniversary.
