Noted screen-writer Salim Khan has undergone hernia operation at a hospital in Mumbai.
Salim Khan, father of actors Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz, was admitted to the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.
"He (Mr Khan) has undergone hernia operation. There is nothing to worry," a family friend told PTI.
Mr Khan, as a part of the prolific screenwriting duo Salim-Javed, has written films such as Haathi Mere Saathi, Zanjeer, Sholay, Deewar, Trishul and Mr India .
