The pair have been together for ten years and recently revealed that they are still "like lovestruck teenagers."
They had been celebrating their third wedding anniversary at the exclusive resort of Portofino, Italy, close to where they married in 2007, when they found out they were expecting the baby they have been longing for.
Stewart's oldest daughter Sarah Streeter is 46, by art student Susannah Boffey. She was conceived when the singer was just 18.
His second-oldest daughter Kimberley, 30, is from his first marriage to Alana Stewart, the couple also had a son called Sean, who is now 29.
The rocker went on to have another daughter, Ruby, with girlfriend Kelly Emberg, who is now 23.
He also has daughter Renee, 18, and son Liam, 15, by his ex-wife, Rachel Hunter.
