Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on Thursday and the star couple were perfection personified in white Sabyasachi ensembles. The bride in a white and gold saree and the groom in a white sherwani. To make the wedding ensemble all the more special, Alia Bhatt had her wedding date inscribed on the saree. Diet Sabya (an anonymous but verified Instagram account known for exposing designer rip-offs), known for all things fashion, shared a glimpse of the inscribed text on Alia Bhatt's saree. Sabyasachi was the official wedding couturier for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Meanwhile, the official handle of Sabyasachi shared the details of Alia and Ranbir's OOTDs. The caption on the post read: "For the wedding ceremony Alia Bhatt wears a hand dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. Paired with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls. Ranbir Kapoor wears an embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa and shawl with zari marori embroidery. The kilangi by Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery features uncut diamonds, emeralds and pearls and a multistrand pearl necklace.'

Alia Bhatt, daughter of actress Soni Razdan and director Mahesh Bhatt, stepped into Bollywood with the Karan Johar-directed 2012 film Student Of The Year. Ranbir Kapoor, son of veteran actors Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, made his debut in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya. He is best known for films like Tamaasha, Rockstar, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, among others. His upcoming projects include Ayan Mukerji's fantasy trilogy Brahmastra, co-starring wife Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan and Shamshera, in which he will share screen space with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. He will also be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
