When Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan co-star John Abraham said that he is not just “an actor but an emotion,” SRK fans across the world agreed with him. Any update about the superstar always manages to light up social media. And why not? After all, he is the “OG Baazigar.” Shah Rukh Khan, who is basking in the success of Pathaan, recently posed for celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani. The actor, as always, sent the internet into a tizzy with his charming expressions. Wearing a grey tee, SRK is seen smiling in the few shots shared by the photographer on Instagram. Sharing a video that comprises snaps of the superstar, Dabboo Ratnani wrote, “BTS with Dabboo with the OG Baazigar, Shah Rukh Khan.” In the hashtags, he mentioned the photos are for his 2023 celebrity calendar.

Shah Rukh Khan is fondly called ‘Baazigar' by some his fans ever since his 1993 film of the same name released in theatres. It was directed by Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla and also starred Kajol and Shilpa Shetty.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the love his latest film Pathaan has been receiving from critics and fans all over the world. The actor thanked fans for watching his film and making it a success. “The film was shot during Covid. Everybody has shown so much kindness to the film. We are extremely grateful to the audience. We thank you (audience) on behalf of our team for bringing life back to the big screen," Shah Rukh Khan said during a media interaction.

Pathaan has been creating box office records at home and overseas. The film has collected over Rs 660 crore worldwide till Thursday and is still going strong, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh. At home, Pathaan has earned Rs 348 crore (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions combined) till Wednesday.


Pathaan has been directed by Siddharth Anand. The film, which marks Shah Rukh Khan's first lead role after 2018's Zero, was released on January 25.
