Theirs seemed to be match made in heaven (after a lot of confusion) but Tanu and Manu have now
Moved On from each other. A new song from
Tanu Weds Manu Returns reveals the fissures that developed in their relationship.
Both songs that have been released so far trace the fluctuating dynamics between Tanu and Manu, but in reverse. In
Move On, Tanu falls out love with Manu. In
Banno, the previously released song, Manu falls in love with Tanu's lookalike Datto.
If
Banno mapped Manu's fresh romance with "National level
ki athletes" Datto, it also left a nagging question - what went wrong in Tanu and Manu's love story?
This new song shows exactly what. It appears that a fight started in London and led to a separation, after which Manu demanded an apology from his wayward wife. Bad move - this only alienates the independent and strong-willed Tanu.
Meanwhile, Manu's other romance doesn't appear to be hiccup-free:
Move On has vocals by Sunidhi Chauhan and lyrics by Rajshekhar. The music is composed by Krsna Solo.
Tanu Weds Manu Returns, sequel to the original 2011 hit, stars Kangana Ranaut as Tanu Trivedi and third-wheel Datto, and Madhavan as Manu Sharma. Returning cast also include Jimmy Shergill, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal.
