- Meanwhile, the Karnataka Film Producers' Association, playing moral police, had imposed a 3-year ban on actor Nikita Thukral. Nikita has been Darshan's co-star in a few films.
- The Producers' Association, when asked, said it did not need to penalise Darshan because a legal case was handling complaints of domestic violence against him.
